Maybe it should be the other way around maybe FSU robbed College Football and they just took it back for all those years of playing 2 games a year.

Maybe they should look at some of those scholar student athletes they have over there that get caught shop lifting at Dillards.

I had seen this on ESPNNews last night and my initial reaction was laughter... I then thought about LSU's NC trophy and how it has been said by LSU officials that it will not be on public display. Here is a good example of why. Kinda sucks for fans that enjoy seeing trophies and memorabilia.

As for those criminoles.... "The school is offering a $2,500 reward for information that would lead to the arrest and conviction of whomever took the trophies". It is obvious by this dollar amount that they are VERY SERIOUS about getting these things back AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

It takes a real fool to steal something like that, they can't show it to anyone without the risk of being caught unless they are very stupid and do show it to someone, then they get caught. unless it was a Bama fan and they will put it in their bookshelf with all of those championships they claim.

You know if you think about this they might want to start questioning Pete Carrol he might have an Idea about who stole the trophy. You know he does have a history of claiming a National Title without a trophy maybe he dicided he needed on or two to have some credit.

No surveillance cameras and the trophies were uninsured – did these idiots forget that it’s FSU and thugs are roaming campus at all hours of the night. I always thought the best way to keep the NC Trophy out of Bowden’s hands was to send his kicker in with 2 seconds left in the game. Is it just me, or does $2,500 seem like chump change for information leading to the recovery of 2 very special Crystal Footballs – it just feels like LSU would have offered more and the local cops in BR would be instructed to shoot suspects on site. Also, what if they replace them and then find the missing two – would they be allowed to display 4 – I smell a conspiracy…

Maybe I shouldn’t say this, but every time I have dinner at T.J. Ribs I find myself daydreaming up some elaborate plan to jack that Heisman Trophy. No clue what I would do with it – I can’t ever go there without thinking about it. They never should have let me out of prison

See the deal with the 2,500 is that is the usual bail from the Bail Bonds to get the players out of jail on the weekend so that was the number they started out with to get the trophy out of hock. Its probably down at the local pawn shop.

I would try the Williams kid that got recruited from Miami first. He would be a good candadite to have stolen it.

Just wondering but is it the real Heisman there, I saw one while working at the Bill Lawton Room today. I am pretty sure the one in the Lawton room is a replica. Just wondering if it is the one they actually handed to him.

When a player wins the Heisman Trophy 2 actual trophies are awarded - 1 to the athlete and one to the college / university. The one in T.J. Ribs is the one that was given to Billy Cannon and the one you saw is likely the other one or simply a replica for display.
