I may be superstitious. Is the lost for Saban in the last game as a Tiger a sign of things to come at Miami? Is he making a mistake jumping ship and abandoning the good things that he had helped build? I hope not for Saban's sake. On the other hand, I suspect that what had happened during the weeks leading right up the bowl game has got to have some distracting effect both on the coaches and the players, particular subconsciously. Any legit Fins fan (such as myself...yes, I'm conflicted here), knows that the Fins are a minimum of 3 years away from having a playoff team. Today's performance is a reflection of Saban's success in building a program with talent, but could cast doubt on his ability to evaluate QB performance. At this point, the Fins don't have that issue since all of their QB's are below average.
