1. that got away.

If we could have put the crown jewel in McKnight on the cake this may have been the best class ever.

Without him it is still a tremendous job by Les and the crew. USC has been able to get just about anybody they want.
  2. The first test of the relative strengths may come next January.
  3. It happens, but they are not cherry-picking the recruits they want. Remember how bad they wanted Keiland Williams last year?
  4. It all evens out. We really robbed Michigan in getting Barksdale out of there.
  5. Thanks for the ride McFlight.:D

  6. USC is the only team we can even argue whether or not they can cherry pick their recruits. Their average star rating is almost always above 4.0 on rivals and they usually come away with no less than 4 five star players (and usually more). They got a recruiting machine like no other. Doesn't hurt to be able to dominate California I suppose.
  7. This is definitely one worth analyzing. I can't remember LSU ever getting a recruit that was heavily considering a big 10 school. That bodes well for this coaching staff in the coming years. That shows that LSU has taken yet another step up the ladder to join the elite of the elite in recruiting.
  8. I see it more as a loss for JM than a loss for LSU.
  9. Who cares? We have enough good backs.

  10. And they still lost to unranked Oregon State and committed one of the biggest choke jobs ever losing to UCLA and keeping themselves out of the National Championship game last year ! I'm not saying they don't recruit well but you still have to play the game !
