http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?page=sec/lsu Saying Mike is just an animal is like saying LSU's game vs. No. 9 Florida tonight is just a game. And you can go that route. No tiger has any bearing on the outcome of any season. This Mike is Mike VI, but he's not related to Mikes I through V. His name is actually Roscoe. None of the Mikes were originally named Mike.
I actually teared up....that was a great article. Does anyone know if you can go on any given day to see Mike?? I really want to bring the girls see him, but there are always so many people around on game day.
This article proves that traditions are indeed timeless. A really moving tale for any Tiger fan.ldskule:
Crystal, you can visit Mike VI any day. I'd try to go either early morning or just around sunset as these seem to be his most active hours. We drove all the way from Paducah, KY to see Mike VI and it was worth every minute of the drive. He's a beautiful Tiger!ldskule:
As much as we hate each other when we are playing against one another, I have come to the realization that the SEC is the greatest tradition in all of sport. Living out here in AZ it is really tough and I think I miss SEC football as much as my family back home. I have gone on a few trips over the past few years, and Saturday in Knoxville and Athens are special as well. You people back home and all through SEC country enjoy what you have, because you miss that passion when it is gone. PAC-10 SUCKS IN COMPARISON.
This would be my new sig quote if the powers of superstition didnt compel me to keep the one below. Great read!
