Well, maybe not "like" but we're not one of the most hated teams. I guess all those car burning, whiskey bottle throwing, old lady cursing stories about Tiger Stadium haven't made it beyond the SEC. http://www.eeesports.net/hated.htm
I don't agree with the Kansas State ranking. Much of the hatred that is felt by fans is fueled by arrogant, classless fans. Kansas State has loyal, true fans. I think that Texas is much more hated than 9. Nothing is more annyoying than a Texas fan running by you with his hook'em'horns sign. Also, Texas is picked to win national championships each year when everyone knows they can't beat Oklahoma! Just having some fun here.
I agree with the top 3 of ND, Miami, & FSU. Jimmy Johnson & Bobby Bowden were two of the reasons. ND because they're ND. I know what you mean about Texas fans. I can't stand that burnt orange and that little hook'em gangsta sign they do. Of course, it's probably just amplified for me personally because I live in Houston now.
Way Too Early Top 25 1. Oklahoma 2. Ohio St. 3. Georgia 4. Miami 5. Texas 6. NC State 7. Kansas St. 8. Auburn 9. Florida State 10. Virginia Tech 11. Michigan 12. Washington 13. Tennessee 14. Arizona St. 15. Virginia 16. Pitt 17. Maryland 18. LSU*************** 19. Notre Dame 20. Nebraska 21. TCU 22. Colorado St. 23. Texas A&M 24. Southern Cal 25. Wisconsin I think LSU should start at least 16 with the #1 recruiting class
I dont understand this. In his Auburn summary, he says this: Uh... Last years UGA-UA game was certainly David v. Goliath, and Goliath kicked David's ass. But what about 2001? Were not LSU and UT both heavy weights? Maybe 2000 UF-AU game wasnt, but how about the 1999 UA-UF bout. They both seemed like heavy weights to me. By my count, 2 of the last four were heavy weight fights, and they are split 2-2 east v. west.
My 10 most hated teams in no particular order: Notre Dame Notre Dame Notre Dame Notre Dame Notre Dame Notre Dame Notre Dame Notre Dame Notre Dame and Auburn
UT was an 8pt. favorite and a win would have put them in the Rose Bowl. I believed we were a pretty even match, but most football fans did'nt think we had a chance. We were David in that one.
