There's been a "down" feeling in the office all day. Guess its because its Friday, everyone should be looking forward to the weekend, but there's all this rain and its probably here for a few days. So I stopped at a local bakery at lunch and picked up a box of brownies. Smiles all around! My wife makes the brownie recipe off the Hershey's cocoa can, with 2 changes: leaving out the nuts and putting on milk chocolate icing. They don't stay on the plate long enough to get it dirty. What's everyone else got?
Chocolate will give a temporary high. Must be a narcotic effect or something. Now, I wouldn't mind sampling brownies coming from the LaSalle household. Course, might have to send out for pizza a short time later. :shock:

not brownies, but when i need a pick me up, i like a yellow butter cake with home made fudge icing. i must admit, i make a great one. in fact, i have had a sh*tty day. maybe i'll make one after the game or this weekend.
