Whether or not we get the votes away from USC is irrelevant. USC will have more hiccups. If they don't handle Nebraska with authority then lookout b/c the Tigers are #1 for the rest of the way.

Of course all I care about is being #1 in the BCS rankings which if we take care of business should happen.

I've never been this excited about a Tigers team. :champs: :crystal:

I, too, have never been this excited about an LSU football team. The only things that can stop them are injuries and arrogance.

Florida has a team that could beat them, but not in Death Valley.

A rematch with Florida in the SEC title game might be trouble because the young Gator D will have had time to gel and gain experience. But the Tiger offense will be much improved as well. Just too many playmakers for the Tigers.

LSU is for real. One game at a time. Let's enjoy this ride.

I like our heavy senior leadership keeping this team focused.

We have 10 games left to be played (including the SEC Championship) and a lot can happen in that time. Let's not "count our chickens before the hatch" and all those old cajun sayings. Let's just take it one week at a time.

The guys an ass though and feels that mentioning LSU will cause his fingers to fall off (we could only be so lucky), in addition I think his father neglected him in the past and his father must look like Les because every since Les was hired at LSU this guy has had him in the dumps!

Whatever, he at least gives me somebody to write dirty emails to when I am bored at work!

Thats is 100% correct and I hope that Miles' bears this in mind and constantly reminds the players of this. Nothing is gauranteed and the #2/#1 bullseye can bite you in the arse very quickly in the SEC.

Well you must think the world starts and ends with the SEC. Because here in California, nobody doubts the best football team in the nation is the University of Southern California. In addition, all the polls that matter (AP, Coaches, ESPN) have USC #1

USC is loaded and led by a QB from Louisiana , John David Booty is one of the best, if not the best, QB in the country. The defense is the best since Coach Carroll arrived and of course, nobody can argue that Coach Carroll is the best coach in the nation based on his track record (3 BCS games, 2 titles).

I think the SEC and the Big 10 are the two most over-hyped and over rated conferences in the nation. ESPN drolls over the SEC but I hope LSU and USC do meet so we can settle this for once.

I realize LSU is and has been a powerhouse and I do respect them. Their two wins over 2 decent teams was impressive but there is no doubt USC would have smashed both those teams as well.

But watch the Men of Troy destroy Nebraska in Lincoln this Saturday and USC will ride into New Orleans in Jan 2008 undefeated and ready to win a 3rd BCS Title under Coach Pete.
