Funny how that list doesn't include being a female. We account for 50% of the population but all the other "isms" get the attention.
There is already the mass collection of data without our consent. Surely you have heard of Google. But the government already has massive amounts of data on almost everybody. Anything that is technically possible will be done. As far as cracking the iPhone, the government could probably find a 14 year old hacker who could do it in less than an hour. I am sure that Apple already has some method of password recovery. If they didn't everybody who forgot their password would have to buy a new phone. I'm sure Apple would love that but it might cause a revolt against their products.
Jelly? True. And what the hell did we spend all that money for on Operation Sweat Tea at Ft Gordon if they can't hack one damn phone? Apple should continue to defy. I don't believe for one second that they assistance is really needed. This is just the gubment doing what it does and it should be rejected.
no ones fooling themselves about anything except you pointing out something immeasurable and resolute. It doesnt further any cause except create faux pc nonsense which is what we have in abundance today. but no one truly cares. everyone pretending to be sympathetic accomplishes nothing except impeding progress which is in the end is way worse. there is no real solution. Except education and maybe travel but its still minor in scale. People will hate people different from them whether its race, religion, location, gender whatever until the end of time. Part is simply human nature. that will never change but its good you recognized it. Now everyone can hold hands and feel better about it.
So wait a minute, you think Apple engineers should be jailed because our government is too stupid to figure this out? That's crazy.
