Not just my opinion. 58% of Americans think so. Before listing his many failures let's first ask the question of WHY? WHY was he such a miserable failure? No incident answers that question better than the time John McCain cast the deciding vote against trump's attempt to end Obamacare. The simple fact is that trump was not and is not a leader, and can not be, either, because his sick narcissism won't allow him to be. Repealing Obamacare should have been a slam dunk for republicans; instead it was a humiliating failure. Why? Because trump is not, was not, and can not be a leader of responsible people. He's incapable of making deals if he can't cheat or strong-arm somebody. He's incapable of guiding people to rational and/or compromise decisions because he doesn't have the personality for it. Most people see him as a dumbshit clown and grifter so kicked him out on his fat ass. John McCain saw that plainly and didn't want to be a part of any of trump's narcissistic gloating. If somebody like President Mitt Romney, instead, had proposed ending Obamacare John McCain would have been right there with him. So, let's get on with it, starting with the broken promises: 1) Failed to end Obamacare. That's a success for America, of course, but an embarrassing failure for somebody who made a campaign promise of it. 2) The "Wall" didn't get built. Even after redirecting money that was earmarked by Congress for our military, the "Wall" didn't get built. And Mexico certainly didn't pay for it, as per his promise. And Mexico is STILL laughing at him. 3) The national deficit exploded, despite his campaign promises to eliminate it. And why? Because he eliminated much Federal revenue by giving massive tax cuts to the very rich, all the while expanding spending. 4) The national trade deficit also exploded, as his promise to create manufacturing jobs turned into a program of allowing corporations to shift operations overseas while also giving them huge tax cuts. 5) The middle class shrank because trickle down doesn't work and because he passed exactly zero bits of legislation to help them. 6) trump's new tax laws and stupid trade wars encouraged companies to move production overseas and reduced wage growth in our own country. trump promised that the average American family would see wage gains of $4000 annually, but that of course didn't happen. 7) Our infrastructure continued to crumble despite his campaign promises for infrastructure investment. And then there were other miserable failures: 1) Hundreds of thousands of Americans died unnecessarily because of trump's inaction against Covid. While allies like South Korea were vaccinating people by government distribution, and dramatically eliminating hospitalizations and deaths, the orange jackass did next to nothing while hundreds of Americans were dying daily. 2) Predictably, because Covid and fear were running rampant in this country the Cadillac economy he inherited crashed. Over twenty million jobs were lost, the worst record in American history. 3) Iran is now on the verge of becoming a nuclear power (and might already be) because trump pulled out of our 2015 nuclear agreement. --->
