started at 6 am on friday morning... drove from hampton roads, va... me, aubie, and bammer... driving through south carolina and georgia with a LSU flag, AUBURN AND BAMA flags (on their sides of course) wound up in montgomery dropped the aunie off and stayed at my friends house went to the stanhope HS football game in ALL LSU clothes friday night. I got many looks and told that LSU sucks and what not.. of course... even little kids came up to me and told me LSU was going to lose and they didnt know why I even traveled... hah... so after the game, we go to a bar named dooleys and some bama fans are trying to start crap, or that could have been me... my shirt was the purple Slinky's Bar shirt: "3 things youll never hear a bama fan say...." so I had a couple beers and told everyone in the bar "goodluck for the game tomorrow" a good nights rest after nearly 11 hours driving (with no help) certainly helped. early wake up in the morning.... So we get the the campus at around the same time corso picks LSU by putting the tigerhead on. We watched it on a TV on the sidewalk before finding the game day crew setup... BTW - The guy wearing the Alley Broussard jersey #22 was me. i didnt see any other people wearing #22 before during or after the game... Also I was wondering if anyone saw the poster I made.... : "RUN BRODIE RUN PUNT BAMA PUNT! Tigerforums.com" Brett: Did you see it on gameday? Also - The " E ver S een a P urple tide i N tuscaloosa?" sign My Bama friend made a "USS IWO JIMA HURRICANE RELIEF LSU VS BAMA" Bright flourescent green.... I KNOW he got on TV... blatant... Anyways so while walking around (the lone LSU fan among 4 Tide Fans) we found the Willie T's shack and got some chicken and sweet tea... If I had to rate it.... 6/10 kind of hard and chewy in some areas... Raising Canes definetly WHIPS those chicken fingers.... by a long shot... The tea was good though... oh and no french fries??? Potato chips? WTF? So we go walk around to see if I could find anyone I knew tail gaiting... Saw the half ass tailgaiters before and after the game... doing it up right... :thumb: So on comes the game... we enter the stadium early and see Bowe and others practicing in grey little shirts, catching and such... I told him that he was the man and he pointed, smiling, then some other guys walked up to him and shook his hand and said "hey dwayne!" he then left, and wouldnt see him until stretches and warmup... so we find our seats... and thankfully there was 5-6 LSU fans sitting right by me near this chain link fence thing... if you were to look at the LSU student section or what not, we were up and to the left, but still on the lower bowl seats... I had quarters and dimes thrown at me and a small whiskey bottle (empty, damn) during the game... and during halftime I was stopped by a fan who asked me if I was at the Tennessee game? I responded with "No, I was helping people pick up their homes and lives after katrina hit" he then responded with "oh, well that was a great LSU game wasnt it bro? hahahaha" this is all while in the aisle of the section. Then Bama fans started to say: "JaMarcus WHO?" even this one guy, who ill get to... so then the 2nd half starts and it was as if someone flipped on a "switch". TOTALLY different team... even my bama friend commented on how fired up LSU looked... a guy that was standing in front of us the whole 1st half cussing us out and making this weird arm gesture was silent for the ENTIRE 3rd quarter. I mean, He did not say ONE word, where as before, he was VERY obnoxious. So then after the 5th sack on Brodie, I asked the guy: "Brodie who?" He was speechless, mad, but speechless... he couldnt believe that this "inferior team had done this to his beloved tide. So me and this one older bama fan start joking about the kicking problems that both teams were going through the whole game... we must have laughed for 10 minutes, talking about what play was going to be run next, and how both defenses were doing a fine job. He wanted to know who the boy was that almost got to brodie in the endzone, before he was tripped up from behind by a offensive linemen. he commented that Bama got away with a game changing no-call that should have been called...would have made the game 10 - 12... and punting back to skyler... Refs: What the HELL is going on? 40 percent of our catches were reviewed, and no catches or replays of bama's were reviewed.... I thought that was quite questionable... That one Davis catch looked good even from all the way across the field... What cracks me up is the bama fans over at tidefans.com...... "horrible calls against alabama! We had ZERO calls go our way! these fans were paid by LSU alumni! it was all rigged! we lost the game, they didn't win it!" such class over there... wow.... And same to some of you guys! "Les miles is an idiot! he needs to learn how to coach! LSU sucks! blah blah blah! Fire Les! Fire Jimbo! The world is ending!" You guys know who you are , so no need to drop names. But Please, try to not FREAK OUT during games and be negative. This kind of crap happens EVERY game on LSU message Boards... When LSU isnt doing that well, Some fans start freaking out, and then when LSU wins, they say something like "we'lll they pulled that one out of their ass!" ANYWAYS! The game ended and LSU WON! What a GREAT feeling! I walked out of the stadium, and the party was kicking! I shook many bama's fans hands and told them good game, now lets go get drunk! One of them told me : "Crap man, we can't hate you guys, youre too nice!" hahaha I went out of my way to be EXTRA nice to all bama fans... Shook one of the tuba players hands, and told him they played great, but I wished they were louder....:thumb: :grin: More to follow...

Who said you guys didn't have a "great" defense? You do and everyone knows that. Our D deserves props from you guys...From all those outlandish predictions, you only came away with 16--in OT. Also, you guys dont have 1 senior (whos the backup), 2 freshmen, 1 junior, and a sophomore on your OL.
