Dude, in one thread you say CLM calls the plays and totally discount that the OC has any responsibility for the O's poor showing, but here you give all the D credit to Chavis. You can't have it both ways.

So how are you positive that Miles runs the offense? Has he told you this?

Chavis runs the defense. Miles doesn't touch it. Chavis wouldn't be here if the defense was run like the offense. Miles pulls the strings of his puppet o-coordinator. How is me saying that contradicting?
Miles can take credit for having chavis on his staff and letting him run his defense.

I just wanted to repeat what Kal-El said because if that is not evident to anyone than open YOUR FREAKING EYES. Hmmm Crowton left and stated that IT WAS NOT HIS OFFENSE THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS. So Miles did not have to say it our former OC said it for him. D. Peterson all but said it in his comments to the Times-Pic when he stated we didn't run all the plays that we had in the game plan, whose decision do you think that is??? The Head Coach, this is not brain surgery. You might not like what Kal-El is saying but that does not make him any less right.

You are right on man. The decision to abandon Jarrett Lee in the middle of the season was shameful, and one of the worst decisions Miles has made. However, I still believe in Les, and I think brighter days are ahead.

Kal-El - I have to say I am not as negative as you are, although I used to be. I have said that after 2007 I did not think we would ever win another SEC Championship under Miles - I was wrong. I have said I did not think we would ever win another NC under Miles - I hope I am wrong. I personally have felt that Miles has done a great job hiring coaches "Chavis" a God send!!! And I thought Kraigthorpe would be great too, but unfortunately he became ill and our thoughts and prayers are with him for a speedy recovery. That being said G. Stud is not the answer and is as you said just a puppet at this point for CLM. So the big question is will he correct that, my gut feeling as you pointed out his stubbornness is self destructive behavior and I fear this will be no different in this case and he will not hire someone that has pedigree and will not allow Miles to interfere just as Chavis doesn't. He has to trust the person he put in charge to complete the job and I fear he really doesn't trust the person or people in charge of the offense, hence he ends up meddling to the teams detriment.

TigerTap - I hate to burst your bubble "and exactly what bubble have you been living in," but come on are you really trying to say that. I don't even think the most ardent supporters or even CLM himself would not only not say that but would not think that. Miles inherited Saban's program and there is not doubt he has built on it and done exceptionally well. But hoss, we were on the map when CLM came riding into the rodeo, we all need to thank Saban for that. Now did Saban do us wrong when he left and then went to Bama, yep!!!! But that does not diminish what he did for the program and bringing us our 2nd National Championship in our history!!!! So if you are going to say something at least make it something that is some what intelligent.

TigerTap - CLM has done well there is no doubt about that, he has done exceptionally well, and I would even say the most successful of all of our coaches to date!!!! But he was not the Coach that put us back on the map, Saban was. Has he kept us there and improved things, absolutely!!! But that does not mean he does not have faults and that does not mean things can't improve because they can. Kal-El is pointing out the flaws that a former OC even stated in an interview when he left. Players are hinting around about the same flaws, Miles won't let go of the reins of trying to be the OC also. Does that mean he isn't successful obviously not, but that does open the doors to self destruction also!!!

Kal-El, bro I don't want to like you because there can only be negative things happening on the dark-side. But I can't help it not only are you funny but you speak words of wisdom.
