THE SACK

    Not only did White get sacked--he was BLASTED. One second he was calmy looking for an open receiver, then the next a cannon shot tore through him. It happened so fast he barely had time to flinch.

    It wasn't actually a called blitz. LT's man blocked and they are taught to "Green Dog" it, (think thats what Saban calls it) or bring it when your man blocks. WHat a great play and a great way to end the game.

    I don't think that is a picture of the final sack. That's the one that ended the drive in the 3rd after Spears' Pick Six. The final one was going the other way based on the emblem in the middle of the field.

    But dude, if those were your seats, I am deeply envious.

    Just saw a replay of that play and it isn't "The Sack" as White threw the ball away. Great shot from even better seats though!! I'd be interested in seeing any other shots of game action / celebration that you have.

    I didn't think that 50 yard line seats actually existed until I saw this picture. :D

    Daily Oklahoman has a GREAT picture of 'The Sack' on the front page of their Sugar Bowl section today, but that picture isn't on their website.
