Colonization has done more good than harm. in fact, it was quite a novel idea in the age of conquerors. Maybe that would have been much better?
no, undeniably western civilization and Christianity has a lot to be ashamed of from around 1200 into the 19th century, plus Hitler's Germany.
Then why do they all want to be like us? Really Western European civilization (including us) has raised more out of poverty and bondage than all other. Take a deeper dive into other cultures in that period. None were as uplifting and attempted to better the world than ours
Is God a Christian? I say no, God is above all the ridiculous organized religions, but is the truth found in each of their essence. There are many paths leading to the top of the mountain.
Other peoples had no say in the matter, their lives were at risk if they did not acquiesce. The popes and bishops were motivated by greed and power lust, they ruled through violence and fear. Yes of course things improved greatly after Colonial times and the "settling of the west", but there were still atrocities. Don't think that I don't love the Christ, and good hearted Christians,.. it's organized religions that have been the plague on humanity
