Maybe not, It hurts me (bitch & moan) when they lose & I am proud when they win. I'm just a fan. Hey, sadly a lot of those Legends left kinda early tonight didn't they?

Then I would think you would be uncomfortable posting in a thread titled "The Realists...". Ironic, no?

I agree that we need to take a look at getting a true DC coordinator but one other thing that is missing from this team is LEADERSHIP. As far as Lee goes you should have been here in Georgia when the great Stafford stunk it up. the fans here couldn't understand why he was playing. I think Lee will be very good in the future. Just have to take our licks on offense and yes that sucks.

Precisely. That's why I am not on the CGC is a "genius" bandwagon. Run until they stop it, then run again, then, maybe then, pass it.

BATON ROUGE — LSU's defense allowed more than 400 yards for the second time this season and for the fourth time since the second half of last season, but defensive end Rahim Alem pointed the finger to the other side of the ball after No. 9 Georgia ripped No. 11 LSU 52-38 Saturday night.

"There were two touchdowns we couldn't do anything about," Alem said in reference to quarterback Jarrett Lee throwing two interceptions to backup middle linebacker Darryl Gamble that were returned for touchdowns. The first return of 40 yards put Georgia up 7-0 in the first 20 seconds of the game. The second one of 53 yards put the Bulldogs up 52-31 with 3:18 left to play.

"Another one led to three points," Alem noted.

"Everybody has turnovers, but when you throw two interceptions for touchdowns, those are game changers," Alem said. "It's hard to come back from that. But it wasn't just the offense. On defense, we messed up big. On offense, we messed up big. We were either giving up an interception for a touchdown or they were just gashing us. You can't win like that."

"I wish I could comment on the schemes we're playing, but I just do my job," Alem said. "We're giving up too many big plays. In two or three plays a game we're not gap solid, and they just gash us on running plays. That happened at Florida and at South Carolina."

LSU coach Les Miles has seen what Alem has seen and wants answers, particulary concerning the obvious numerous busted coverages.

"It certainly has to be reviewed as to the specifics of what happened and who and why," Miles said, and on the word 'why,' he put strong emphasis. He then went back and forth on if what defensive co-coordinator Doug Mallory is calling is too complicated or not.

"And if the answer is not an easy one, then it's maybe can't," he said. "Can't we call something that the guys can figure out? But to me just off mind's eye from the game, I don't think the coverage was particularly difficult. It's not like we were involved in a bunch of combo coverages and a bunch of different things. It was pretty simple."

Miles could not wait to watch film of Georgia's running game.

"There were some of our guys over running plays," he said. "Linebacker fits in that will be interesting to look at. Secondary fits on those cutbacks will be interesting to look at to see where they were at."

Lot of frustration on the team. I hope they get it straightened out. I notice Bama ran off their OC after one season, got a new one and they're doing pretty good this year.
