i think it sucks that fans who make all the games cant get into the national championship game... i have personally made 12 of 13 games this year and it will be a crying shame that a fan like me cant afford a 1000 dollar ticket... I know that it is going to piss me off when one week after the game i hear someone talking about how they were at the national title game this year and that they didnt go to any other games. That is a shame. i know there is no way to fix it. But there are fans out here who make every damn game and then cant get tickets to really big games... and usually these fans are really good fans who cheer the whole time and are loud and make lsu proud... I have never left a game before 0:00 and i dont plan on doing it anytime soon either. If there is anyone else out there who agrees with my way of thinking let me know...
I agree and have suggested to anyone who will listen that we should be able to recieve TAF points for being fans not just sending $. If there was a way to swipe a card when leaving the game they could give extra credit for staying until the end of blow outs or losses, consecutive attendance, road games, whatever that way we could ensure that fans get to the bowls not just the people who want to say that they were at the NC game:geaux:
This comes up every year. The students are always the ones who get left out in the cold (not just for football).
I feel ya. This is the first season I have not been able to attend all the games, joined the Army in April, but I did make it to W. Ill, Georgia, Auburn, Ole Miss, Ark, and the SECC. For the first 3 I drove from Ft. Benning, Ga to home on the Friday nights and drove back Sunday night. On the last three games I was home on convalsent leave and still went to the games on crutches with a damn broken foot. So I know what you are saying bout the die hards getting the screw treatment here. I'm trying to get tickets but with christmas and stuff money is tight. But no matter if I am at the game or at a friends house drunk as hell. I will never forget those moments.
