OK, most LSU fans were nervous throughout the game, and there wasn't a lot to cheer for while LSU's offense had the ball. However, here are the positives as I see them: LSU won! Ohio State lost No way LSU is going to be overconfident after this game, so chances of looking beyond the Arkansas game should be close to zero. No major LSU injuries (that I saw). LSU won! Mauk hasn't had two bad games in a row before Arkansas game is in Tiger Stadium Last year's loss to Arkansas should add some additional motivation to the team Some of USC's previous opponents lost today, weakening their SOS LSU's defense only gave up one touchdown, and stuffed the vaunted Ole Miss offense most of the game.
I like the way you guys think. I had a lot of concerns about this game which wound up coming to fruition. I'm extremely happy we won. I think our performance today COULD just be the fuel that we need to run the table. Lord knows we're going to want the Arkansas game, but every game is a MUST WIN.
