There won't be a backup to Flynn, who as someone else alluded to, is being used to run too much and is jeopardizing his health as well It's insane to have your backup QB flying down the field trying to crush someone.
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... I think Flynn running was his own call. Miles may have had a few QB keeper plays but Flynn ran when no one was open and did a good job off hitting the dirt when he had too. I like his scrambling ability. It adds a whole different dimension to the O. He had some very nice runs that kept it going. He knows how to get down so other then a cheap shot he will be ok. I didn’t notice RP on special teams. That is dumb. No way he should be out there.
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... You sure that wasn't the other number 11, Kelvin Sheppard? He's a RS Freshman linebacker who is about the same size as RP.
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... The name on the back said Sheppard. They have 2 players in the same #
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... I'm sure most know but just in case, you can have more than one player with the same number just so they aren't on the field at the same time.
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... Damn, my bad....didn't know that rule existed. Ok, Miles, let er rip!
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... Wow..........Perrilloux the head hunter.......
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... That rule could be used in some devious ways especially by a team like USC that doesn't have names on their backs. Put a dark visor on them and RP and Sheppard look almost exactly alike. Say you ordinarily use Shaeppard to protect the punter but you sneak in RP to run a pass fake, or have a #5 LB back there normally who looks like Keiland and then sneak Keiland in the game to run a fake punt, or even just have a stunt double for your best RB when he is tired to come out and still keep the defense on its heels because they never know which is the real one (mainly if you have a Reggie Bush type player who defenses must always account for).
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... Do we have 99 players on our team? I can understand a walk on who dresses out having the same number as a scholarship player, but it is ridiculous for scholly players to be having the same number.
Re: If Miles continues to use Perrilloux on his special teams... Certain number ranges are assigned to different positions. It is possible to run out of numbers for the backs, but you can't just give them lineman numbers.
