That's the best point I have seen on this board yet. Take the UF game for instance...Our first play from scrimage was a bomb to Prothro for 87 yards. We stunned Florida and their crowd. They never were able to recover from it and we hung up 31 early in the 3rd quarter. True, we dont have Prothro anymore but Hall or Brown (had a 65 yard TD in the UF game) are very capable of making the big play. Brodie just has to deliver the ball--something he has barely been off at the past 3 games. ROLL TIDE!
So far this year it seems like our best drive is the first drive. I dont know why Jimbo cant make some changes after that drive but anyway... I think if we can score early this will really take some steam out of Bama. Their defense is being told how great they are, it would be great to pop that bubble early!
