Earl became angry and it only took him 3 grand jury's to indict Delay.

A documentary about the Delay probe?
Sounds like a Michael Moore stunt.

SDman, keep up! DeLay is so yesterday. . .

The good stuff is happening in Washington. . .

As the investigation into the leak of a CIA agent's name hurtles to an apparent conclusion, special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald has zeroed in on the role of Vice President Cheney's office, according to lawyers familiar with the case and government officials. The prosecutor has assembled evidence that suggests Cheney's long-standing tensions with the CIA contributed to the unmasking of operative Valerie Plame.

Can you say Watergate part deux? Remember, it's not the crime that gets you, it's the coverup. . .

SD: You love to use the term "ridiculous", and you usually use it properly...but...please learn the correct spelling. Man, that bugs the (place where the devil lives) out of me.

    since you brought it up.
I don't understand why Judy Miller went to jail in the first place.
Why would someone go to jail for 3 months to protect a source when
she was given permission by the source to testify to the grand jury
before and after she was released from jail.
Now she can't remember who that source is?
It sounds like she might be going back to jail for perjury

Also you say its not the crime that gets you but its the coverup.
Why should anything happen to Bush or Cheney when Bill Clinton
lied, covered up and was convicted of perjury and yet was allowed
    to finish his presidency?
He never spent any time in jail or had any fine that I'm aware of.

Unlike four posters I can think of on this forum.
If Bush and Cheney are found guilty of crimes I hope they are impeached.
I have no problems with Bill Frist running the country, maybe we can then
    control spending and the borders.

I'm no Bush\Cheney clone, I like it because they seem to have convictions.
They are for tax cuts and national defense, conservatives on the Supreme
court, thats about all I have in common with them.
Bush, Cheney and Delay are innocent until proven guilty.
Whats your take on Ronnie Earl?

    How about you?

Bill Clinton was acquitted of the perjury and obstruction of justice charges brought against him. He wasn't allowed to finish his Presidency. He finished it because he was found to be not guilty.

OK, Obviously I don't remember everything just right if that is the case.
If Clinton was innocent then why was he disbarred for a year?

Do you believe Bill Clinton was a hero and ignore all his baggage.
That he did nothing wrong and was attacked by Republicans for
    no reason.

Meanwhile all Republicans in the White House and Congress are sorry SOB's?

Standard of proof is different (obviously much lower standard of proof in an ethics hearing.) That's just my hunch though.

While we are talking about ethics.
Why is it that it was ok if Bill Clinton was not an ethical president but Bush and Cheney
    have to go?

Could it be its all about politics which Rex, Mystik and others here will never admit too?

I have no problems at all, if Bush and Cheney are guilty they should go just like
Clinton should've been impeached and ran out of DC.
I don't have the double standard that Mystik and others here seem to have.

I don't have any trouble seeing a different Republican the chance to run the country.
