We can still have a good year. An NC just leaves you wanting another and that's incredibly rare. No championships of any kind though this year. Auburn will not lose 3 in the SEC.

    agreed.
We have come a long way around here in 5 years under NS.
Any year you play in a bowl game is a good year.

I don't know if we can beat Florida but if we can't.
If we can then win out maybe we can play in the Cotton bowl or Indy bowl.
    Whatever falls into place.

Exactly, it's not the end of the year. We just got caught by a good team looking for a little revenge. It can still be a good year. I'm just upset by the effort today, it seemed like we were not very well prepared. Saban will get them on track before the end of the year.

Because of the schedule, LSU is fated to have a rough season in even-numbered years with Georgia, Auburn, and Florida on the road. We still will only lose to top-10 teams and go to a major bowl game 9-2 or 8-3.

However, LSU has very good prospects in odd numbered years with the same contenders all at home.

    2001 SEC champs
    2003 SEC champs, National champs
2005 ???? looks pretty good to me, we only lose 9 seniors.

Yes, but who is going to be next year's Chad Lavolais and Stephen Peterman?

Prior to the beginning of last season, we didn't know that Lavalais and Peterman were going to be killers. We were moaning over the loss of Bradie James and Toefield/Davis. Some guys will step up--maybe even this year.
