That's exactly what we either need a whole lot, or really really don't need... a dose of optimism. Ah what the hey. :geauxtige  :tigbas: "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to lsubatgirl04 again."

Is it just me, or did "Gorilla Ball" come back quietly??? Perhaps being this far north, I don't get to hear what's said on talk radio like I used to get when I was still down there....SO maybe I'm out of the loop. Refresh my memory.... What is the team record for HR's hit in a single season??
Category Rank Actual Batting Average 113 0.295 Earned Run Average 35 3.73 Fielding Percentage 32 0.969 Scoring 56 7.3 Home Runs Per Game 8 1.33 Triples Per Game 106 0.25 Doubles Per Game 35 2.21 Slugging Percentage 27 0.483 Stolen Bases 267 0.56 Double Plays Per Game 95 0.9 WL Pct 39 0.673 out of 283 total teams 267 of 283 stolen bases, 8 of 283 for teams in homers. Geauxrillas are alive and well.
Damn that's a LOT of HR's.... Perhaps thats what it is?! Having seen first-hand a good bit of those 188, and guys like Furniss and co. piling on HR totals that looked like some other team's RBI leader, 71 seems so.... "ho hum"?? (for the record, I couldn't hit 1 HR, so perhaps I shouldn't be "ho humming" anyone?! )
