Look at the poll and map on ESPN and you can see why both sets of Tigers get little respect. It has nothing to do with the teams, only media pandering to the greatest number of viewers. http://espn.go.com/
I'm sure these polls and other things like that do play some kind of roll in deciding how much coverage they spend on a particular game or team. I'm sure that they don't put too much weight into these kind of polls but I beat their research department would find similar things
