Well here we have it people.

LSU, with wins over Ole Miss and Arkansas, will be in position come December 3rd, to possibly be playing for the chance to go to the BCS championship game.

How so, well if UT loses that night to Colorado, LSU would pass them in the BCS standings merely due to the timing of the loss, being that its the last game of the season.

Of course something must happen to Miami along the way as well, which of course could be a ACC Championship game loss as well.

Put it this way, LSU is in the mix for the BCS title game come December 3rd.

You can't ask for much more out of a season.

My sincere apologies to Les Miles. I was the big basher after the Tennessee game that said there was no way he would win this game versus Bama.

I hope everyone that kept saying 'wait till florida', 'wait till auburn', and 'wait till bama' will finally stop trying to find flaws with the team and just jump on for the ride!! This team has HEART..at every position and at every level of coaching. They will be in any game they play in.

They may play down to some opponents, but as long as they play UP to the others as well, it's all good! Ohio State did the same thing a few years ago, it was nerve wrecking I'm sure, but they took it.

    It'll do pig, it'll do.

Well I am sure people will complain about how we had the ball in Alabama territory the entire 4th quarter and couldn't seal the deal. And that's a legitimate gripe. The game should not have gone into OT.

Still not totally sold on Miles, but you can't argue over the record and the teams we have beaten.

I would be one of them. I have never complained about Miles and crew but you have got to play to your strengths and not letting JR air it out is just plain crazy. JR is what kept us in the game and ultimately won it for us. It seemed like we let him throw and once we got into decent field position we stopped and settled for three.......and missed!

It just seems to me that we are reluctant to put the game away when we have the opportunity........! But, we always seem to pull it out and usually on the arm of JR which, I believe, makes my point.

I am not a Miles/Pelini basher, just expressing my opinion about what seems to be a trend this year. I actually like Miles/Pelini and think that we have yet to see what they can do.

I still think there are many fans waiting in the wings to join on this bandwagon. They won't be convinced until we win the SEC championship game.

I do agree that the playcalling in crunch time is quite bad (Tennessee, Auburn and now Bama 4th quarters). Previous poster was entirely correct that LSU should have stayed aggressive with JR throwing the balll, instead of reverting to a running game that was mostly ineffective most of the night.
