Ok...I have seen all this talk about how LSU has a chance because dispite the awesome D edge The U has, their offense is "horrible" and "offensive".

Lets look at the stats on paper now...Offensive numbers...

    TD's TYPG PYPG RYPG

    Miami 38 371.3 226.0 145.3
    LSU 39 366.3 226.3 139.9

Now...For all of you who said something about how bad the UM O is. How do you explain your logic behind winning because the UM O is so bad...Just something to think about. I want LSU to win because I root for SEC (except AU and UT) and frankly, I HATE Miami. And with Flynn at QB, I am not sure how he will play against one of the best defenses in the nation in the big-spotlight bowl game...

I have been arguing that our offense is underachieving this season. With all the talent at skill positions an experience OL, this offense is not doing very well. I believe it is a combination of bad coaching of the WR's and developing them, some very predictable play calling, and this has caused the offense to come out flat for the 1st half of most the games. This offense has ridden on the success of the defense and as last year the defense won all the difficult and close games for the team.

I've posted in another post that the Peach bowl will be a defensive game b/c neither offenses are very impressive. The difference is that the LSU offense should be much better with the talent level. Whoever commits the least turnovers will win.

Miami's offense is worse than Bama's, because they have a young QB who we can pressure into mistakes, where we couldn't do so with Croyle

We all know that our offense has not played well all year.

Kyle Wright will definitely be a first round pick in the future. He is a real good QB, he just hasn't showed it yet. He has not proved himself yet, but he will

I was at the FSU-Miami game. Wright was throwing lasers to the open receivers against a good FSU defense. He can be rattled and make mistakes. That is the key for LSU defense (blatantly obvious analysis I know but Miami's offense isn't half bad).

OK, am I the only one who thinks that we'll be a lot fresher and a lot more improved for the Miami game? 12 games in what, 11 weeks? Hell, 12 in 12 would be tough, right?
