Someone recently posted a thread from an Arkansas site that was kinda funny, some thread making fun of us for going to OT with Ole Miss. While I was reading I decided to go back in time on their forum and see what was flying around circa the season finale vs US! I found this thread. This isn't the first time I've read comments like these regarding our band, they really are awesome, get the crowd rocking, and seem to be playing loud and often all game long. Gotta love it when even the home crowd at an away game notices too. Below is the quote from the original poster. The link above it is to the entire thread. Thought yall would enjoy the read. Here's the LSU band's Pre game..........Now don't let the Golden Girls distract you while you're listening. This gives me the goose bumps as much as when I hear our National Anthem. http://youtube.com/watch?v=yiZoYQSqu-A
I tried...and failed. Sorry. Next time, maybe just post an audio link!:thumb: I'm easily distracted by the Golden Girls!
LSU's band rocks. And since I know you all can at least appreciate the concept of band love, here's a short clip of the USC Band marching in........Rome! It's amateur video so hang in past the first 20 seconds or so. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=usc+band+in+rome&search=Search
I'm a Viet Nam era vet. When I hear the National Anthem, I feel "Pride." I was fortunate to be born an American. And I am proud. But it was simply chance I was born here.:usaflagwa So don't get me wrong here because it can bring tears to my eyes---however The LSU pre-game is the one that brings goose bumps to me. And remember---I am a LSU fan "SECOND CLASS.":thumb:
