You can bet after that game. The starting secondary positions are wide open this week. That was definitely some piss poor coverages. Somebody should remind them that it's ok to intercept or at least go for the pass block.

Did we not lose our DB coach from the last few seasons? (Cooper)? DB's look really poorly coached. We definately need more pressure from the line on the QB. Rasco was horrible. The only time he gets in Murray's face, he hits his face mask and draws a fifteen yrd roughing penalty. About the only guy that I'm impressed with on D is Kwon Alexander.

We did and he was one of the best secondary coaches in the nation. And Saturday's game shows how his departure has caught up with us and how much the defense misses him. Of course, part of having a good secondary is having a good pass rush. What we saw Sat was the result of us having neither.

Exactly. Very young defense having trouble! Chavis will get the D back to where it needs to be. It's just going to take some time. Hopefully, they can be coached up and improve as the season progresses.

alot of the secondary has to do with the coaching. No one turns to look for the ball.

He maybe looking for a job after this year, looking at who they play, still a bunch more games to drop this season. Guess thats why I always say, job stability is something coaches should value. Many of my friend value it more than the money part, to some extent. LSU is one of the more stable and great paying jobs in the nation. Plus coaches like working with Les.

If I were Miles he would have been called Saturday night. Our DB's look lost, confused and never are turning back to the ball. That stems from coaching! Kwon is the only player we had Saturday everyone else was in lala land. You got to hand it to UGA they usually start slow but this game came out swinging and never slowed down. OBJ should have fair caught that punt he had 2 UGA guys unblocked and coming hard and watching the replay several times you see his eyes drop from the ball to see the heat coming. Huge mo gain for UGA. I believe we will see some shake up in the DB's and we get to slap another dawg around Saturday night. We have to put this 1 behind us and take care of the next Dawg Saturday night.
