The Good - This LSU team can throw the ball- and catch it, its one loss to an SEC E team, they can recover and still have a great year. The Bad - This LSU team can't cover anyone, can't generate a pass rush, not great at run blocking The Ugly - See above, the secondary is just terrible. DBU they once were, but not anymore. I think EVERY TD ga had was due to blown coverage, if not all it was sans 1. That sucks ass. #1 will not come to fruition if #2 doesn't get fixed in a hurry.
Bama's offense just doesn't scare me as much as Georgia's did. I don't get how people can just pencil in a L there. aTm scares me, though. Man, that's gonna be another high-scoring affair. We really need to work on our two-minute drill to have a prayer. I would add to "Ugly" - ODB not handling a simple fair-catch situation. Take away that single mistake and I believe we win the game.
Shane, I agree with all of your points. Our defense sucks. We can't get pressure, stop the run, or cover receivers. Oh, wait. We can't blitz, either. Kwon Alexander is our best player on defense. Still, I think we can take the rest of our games. This UGA is a mirror-image of ours, and as someone else stated, it OBJ had fielded that punt, I also think we'd have won.
Ah c'mon. Let's not play that game. We could add or take away so many "one plays" that could have changed the outcome. Had Freak not intercepted, had Loston made one play, had Gurley gotten hurt, oh wait.
I agree that there are many things that swung this game. However, our defense had made a rare stop, and we were just as likely to have gone downfield and scored on that possession (because, let's be honest; UGA's defense is really no better than ours; home field advantage may have been the deciding factor yesterday on that one). Had we scored there, that's was a possession that we actually won. Instead, they scored a field goal--the difference in the game.
