It's what our forefathers would suggest had they seen how large government has become. When? Not sure, but it's always an option. Rebellion/Revolution is very American. Don't give up.
Cajun, As a Libertarian and strong believer in the Constitution and the founding fathers vision I certainly hope you are right. I just can't see it. Every branch of our government is now in control of people who support murder of our citizenry and compromise our freedom. I don't know how you swing that hard to that direction out of the blue. I'm not throwing in the towel. I actually plan to run for office some day, that is, if I am fortunate enough to do so. We'll see. I'm gonna die hard (but non-violent).
It is indeed a very sad day. Unfortunately a perfect storm aligned for this imposter who now awaits the most important job in the world. Thankfully our forefathers envisioned circumstances like this and created a government that will remain standing despite the unconstitutional and immoral assualt that is about to be unleashed on her. Just as Obama's roots are of a community organizer, it will be up to those of us that believe in the Constitution as it stands and was intended to organize and fight this assault on American values and principles.
I started not to post in this thread because I know it will be just a matter of time before red brings his ass in here and laughs at us all...To red I say...keep your freaking opinion out of this thread. The sentiments above are heart felt and shouldn't be made fun of. I agree that our country has moved beyond the point of no return. Unlike some of you above, I don't have much faith in our political system ever returning to something that we (true conservatives) would be proud of. We (conservatives) barely even have the means to fight back right now. Maybe it is time to admit that the country has moved on and it is up to us as individuals to try and protect ourselves and our children on our own. Trust can no longer be given to the majority of citizens or our government. To the Obama supporters...You asked for it...You got it. Enjoy.
I'm not going to quit on my country but I'll be damned if I'm going to play along with the Obama charade. I actually should do quite well. I'll no longer need to donate to charities because Obama will provide free health care and beneifts. I don't need to support the Hornets any longer because the people of New Orleans should now be able to afford tickets courtesy of...you know who. It will be hard to be selfish and only care about "ME" but I'm sure a few Democrats can teach me how to do it. This could be fun. No responsibility...no hard work...no long hours...get paid to stay home and let the government take care of me...wow, I could get use to being a Democrat. :hihi:
