Ok, the bitching and moaning is getting really old. We just went 10-2, and you'd think the sky fell down. So here it is: the people who are calling for new coaches, I'm calling you out. Tell me why 10-2 isn't good enough under a first year coach? You know what? You can't. You have no argument. LSU is in the best shape we've been in in many many years. We are loaded with talent, and more coming in. We play in the toughest conference in all of football. And you know what? WE HAVE THE BEST COACHING STAFF IN THE SEC. You can second guess anything you want. But you cannot second-guess results. Our coaches just gave us a 10-2 season. It's about time a large population of our fans drank a big tall glass of STFU. I'm enjoying my koolaid, and until the coaches give us an inferior product they have my love and support 100%.
Yep you are drinking the coolaid. Les Miles is Mike Archer reincarninated which does not equal elite status in college football. The SEC is not the toughest conference in college football. Has not been that way since the mid 1990's.
I will go first, this team is loaded with talent. Ricky Bustle would have gone 10 -1 A good coach would have been undefeated. we will know the whole truth in 3 years. I hope Les miles is the right coach but at this moment I think he will not be here long. I wish to be wrong.
I definitely don't agree with this statement. I think we just played one of the best coaching staffs (if not THE best) in the SEC. There are many areas where the coaching staff can be called into question. Just because we are 10-2 does not mean that there are no problems with the coaching. Want an example? Team discipline, for one. Penalties this year have really hurt us. False starts, offsides, personal fouls are a result of poor discipline and are a direct reflection of the coaching staff. Now, notice I'm not sitting here bashing Miles and Co., because I won't do that. But I do believe there are some problems that need to be addressed.
