One thing I've noticed in just about every discussion of LSU's next coach, Lane Kiffin's name will come up. Doesn't matter who it is they're talking about, from Tucker to Riley to Napier, Kiffy is always there. Doesn't happen with other coaches that I've heard talk about. And it doesn't seen to matter which message boards either. Fickell, Napier, Aranda & Tucker can all disappear for awhile before getting brought up again, but not Joey Freshwater. Anyone else notice this?

You might be right. I'm just not sure what to make of Franklin. Good coach I think, but hard to get a read on him for me. Have heard so much conflicting stuff both good & bad. Is he going to LSU or USC?
I kind of agree. If they are looking for a "Good fit", not sure he's the guy. Seems like a smart enough guy, but it's like he wants to say "Guys, I'm really an accountant". But my understanding of him may be way off.
His defense is rated 6 and offense 80. He’s an offense guy. Last year both were mid-50s. Three previous years were 8/23/7 on D and 15/32/7 on O. The only year O beat D was 2016 (21 vs 47). Not impressed with recent offensive production and it looks like the DC could shoulder a lot of the credit for his success.
