I've heard some people blaming Matt Mauck for the loss to Florida. I've heard some blaming the O-Line. I've heard some blaming the entire offense. I've heard some blaming the refs. I've heard some blaming the coaches/gameplan. I've even heard some blame the defense. On the post game radio show, I heard some people blaming the crowd for not being "into the game" enough.

While I partially agree with some of those complaints, I don't agree with all of them. In my mind you can't place the blame on any one person or thing that happened. It was a combination of lots of things. LSU made LOTS of mistakes all game long and made those mistakes on both sides of the ball. Florida took advantage of some of those mistakes and made LSU pay for them.

Regardless of who or what anyone wants to place the blame on, the Bottom Line is this: LSU was NOT ready to play!!! Florida WAS and the final result shows just that.

It seems like LSU was believing the hype instead of living it. (i.e. they thought they could just show up and win). As we all know it doesn't work that way.

Hopefully, this was a wakeup call to LSU and that they will come out on fire and READY to go next Saturday. :lsug: :geaux:

Was our team less prepared because we played a relatively weak early schedule? If so, did Auburn benefit from getting whipped early against decent non-conference opponent(s) so that they were more ready for the conference games?

Aub. first 2 games were like ours today.
They believed all the crap media was giving them, so they thought all they had to do was show up and the other team would fold. AUBURN IS AWAKE NOW . THEY WILL NOT BE BEATEN AGAIN THIS YEAR.

    Born in 79 hugh?

You young kids don't have any respect for your elders,
you and the other kid saying rude things about me.

We're suppose to be rooting for the same team.

Your not concerned about this offense in big games.

    Well,
Let's just agree that every game the rest of the season is a
    big game.

    You know Football

How many games can this team win if the offense plays the way
they did against Georgia and Fla?

    Today was just a fluke?

Our offense was good against Georgia?
    Right?

    I'm all ears.

Too much football to be played before I'd say that...anything can happen. lsu can turn it around just like Auburn has done so far...the more sunshine pumping the media does to a team the more that team seems to lose touch with reality. I love how Auburn plays the underdog roll, unranked and all, but if you keep beating top 10 teams, you have to be ranked sooner or later...

    Yes I was.
Uh, you must have me confused with someone else. I never once said anything to or about you.
We are rooting for the same team. Again, what are you refering to?
I didn't say anything specific about the offense. All I said was that I thought LSU wasn't ready to play today.
I agree every game is a big game. I always have thought that and always will.
I honestly have know clue what your point is here.
    Not many.
    I hope so.
I wouldn't say the offense was that great against Georgia.
