Yep, I guess you could say he is the most surprising since 99.8% of us never had heard of him before. Lord knows he is at a tough position with all of the talent at RB. What class is he in, will he be around a few more years?
Not to rain on Donnie's or your parade but there has been a lot of walk-ons who have been the "Stars" of the spring or spring game. Guy Harper, Terrell Clayton, Gino Giambelluca just to name a few. I hope Donnie sticks around and provides the scout team with a solid RB to mimic teams that have a good RB. But the likelihood of him ever seeing the field is slim and none. If he is that good, maybe he could transfer to ULL, Tech or one of the Div. I-AA school's in the state and garner some playing time.
I agree. I was pretty impressed with Chaucer. Here he is after making an incredible run which resulted in a touchdown.
I really like his book, too! You know . . . The Canterbury Tales, by Chaucer? You might have read it in high school. It's a good read.
The suprise of the spring is Amp Hill. Less a suprise and more a relief, but still... many people where calling his career over. Welcome back AmpMan.
You got to love kids like this who love a school so much that they pass up all other offers just to be a Tiger. I hope and wish him the best.
