Well guys the big week I've been looking forward to is upon us.......Tigers vs. Tigers. As some of you know from my earlier posts, I'm making my first trip to BR and looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere of Tiger Stadium at night and all the pre-game fun. I was hoping both of us would be undefeated but it's still a big game for both of us. If anyone can give me suggestions on parking, eating, etc., I would appreciate it. I get in Friday night and leave Sunday. Also I would appreciate it anyone can give me a link to a map of the campus. I hope the tailgate party being discussed in another post materializes since I would love to meet a lot of you face to face. Go Tigers!!!

I've got a urine soaked nerf ball waiting for you. Are you bringing your grandmother, because I also love to beat up the elderly!

Try the LSU Athletic Dept site for gameday information.

    www.lsusports.net

There is some damn good food in this town, especially seafood. Mike Andersons, Phil's Oyster Bar, Drusilla Seafood, and Ralph & Kacoos are the most popular. All will be crowded on game weekends but you can get in with a reasonable wait, they are used to it.

TJ Ribs is especialy good at moving a crowd through on game day and serves fine BBQ. Good Bar & Grills abound. The Chimes, The Pastime, Georges, Ivars, and Brewbachers are all great LSU bars with excellent food. Juban's is kind of upscale but has the best Louisiana cuisine.

And don't forget 24-hour breakfast at Louie's Cafe, a classic diner with the best omelettes and burgers in town.

The casino riverboats downtown offer some fun . . . and New Orleans is only a hour away.

Don't believe all the stories you've heard about bad fan behavior, most of it is BS and some of us are a little sensitive about it. You will hear the "Tigerbait taunt" about 600 times! It's a friendly taunt meant to annoy you . . . it's not a threat. We don't actually feed people to the Tiger.

    Welcome to Baton Rouge.

Thanks to most of you. DDTigerfan and Deathvalley, who twisted your tail so early in the week and what did I say to evoke such intelligent responses?

    Hey Proud Tiger,

DD's & DeathValley's comments were "tongue in cheek". C'mon man, lighten up. Hope you have a good time in BR, but go home as a loser.
