Someone please tell me why didn't Miles & Jimbo call more passing like the last drive of game.... When you go on the road in the SEC to play at top 10 team, "Especially Auburn" You have to play to your strengths on offense. Your defense allows only 7 pts the entire game. I can't believe that we attempted to run our backs like that all day long. With that cannon on JaMarcus, we should have passed 80% of the day. I promise you that there could have been more rushing yards if we utilized the receivers abilities. But to wait until the last offensive drive of the gamet o only play to our strengths on offense is a crying shame.....

You can't win a game like that without scoring touchdowns.....

To the LSU players on defense, I am sorry. :bncry: My heart goes out to ya'll for putting up one of the best defensive efforts I have ever whitnesed. To the offensive side, I really believe that we have what it takes to make it work, and especially at the receiver position to give any team in America fits. I saw all of the receivers open so many times but the ball was not delivered like it should have been.

I only hope Miles & Jimbo can teach the freshmen running backs the assignments on pass blocking because we needed them in the game yesterday. If to only have them have carry the ball 5-10 times each and have our "Quarterback" throw the ball 80% of the game.....

Why didn't we see Ryan Perrilloux or Matt Flynn in the game if to only change Auburn's defense and keep them in constant limbo all day. Hands down, either of the two would have had a better chance of gaining rushing yards of all of the running backs that played. Our pass blocking would have allowed for him to be inserted in the game plan..

You just can't always go win the game on the last drive......:dis:

I know the officiating didn't help but we did had the players to win that game.

I just hope we can learn from this.... I hope Miles & Jimbo can think better.

I am not giving up on you guys.......... There is lots of football left to be

played. Just focus on what we do best. When our experienced running backs haven't fully recovered and are not getting it done.

    Play to our strengths!!! :thumb:

JR passed into the dirt a couple times. The recievers missed a few passes and all around the offense kind of sucked. It was a bad time for JR to go cold but he did. The playcalling, well I don't know other than to say it was obvious our running game was not working. I am not putting this game on JR but he was less than stellar in his performance. That is not a slam on JR, I know he is a good QB and I want to see him as our starter the rest of the season. If it was not for our defense we would have lost by 21 points. PITY TULANE!!!

I feel we must pass to open up the run...that is our forte with the recievers and quarterback we have. The offensive line for some unexplainable reason seems to be able to pass protect, which is a harder task, than run block. We open up the passing attack and the run will begin to take it's own. Now to email Jimbo...

Normally, I'm very opposed to pass first so you can run. But going into the game we knew our run game was somewhat suspect. Additionally, in a game such as this, in a totally hostile stadium, I was strongly hoping that we would come out passing and passing long to try and score first and possibly score twice before Aub ever did inorder quiet the crowd and give us a cushion to then try and see what our run game would be able to get off this Aub defense.

Also, why in the hell did we get called for not enough guys on the line multiple times, sometimes for the same type of play (ie punt)? Our coaches know the rules and I can't imagine players just not lining up on the line by accident multiple times in a game. Something tells me they didn't practice those plays enough.

you may not like or agree with the answer but here it is. on the last 2 drives auburn was in a prevent defense. dbs were playing way off the ball guarding the endzone.

:geauxtige Can anybody justify paying Jimbo and Les $500,000-$1,000,000 when they can't see that their obvious tunnel vision gameplan(RUNNING) WASN'T WORKING?! Their unwillingness to change their play calling for the best of the team could possibly have lost BIG $$$$$$$ for LSU. Are they worth it?

I forgot to mention that, however I did realize the prevent.. But they did pass every down on that drive. That is the kind of drive I would have put in in the early in the 2nd half. At least try to create a miss match and hope to find an open receiver instead of having your running back run into a brick wall everytime.... Charles Scott & Keiland Willams would have been quicker to get to the outside in yesterday's game... IMO

Got to put points up on the board because you just can't keep a good SEC team like Auburn Scoreless at their home turf......
