That stuff is awesome, but you have to check the dates on the bottles. After it sits too long it tastes like rat poison.
Nice. Their West Coast IPA is pretty punchy too. On tap at a place a mile from my house, $3 happy hour pints 4-6 daily. Dangerous stuff. My Saturday plan: November 12 - 6th Annual West Coast Barrel Aged Beer Festival Events Home in time for the game, natch.
How was the festival? Any new brews? My girlfriend is from Chico, so she is a big Sierra Nevada fan. Pretty good stuff over there on the west coast.
I went to the Brewery on Friday. I like the Christmas Ale, but Santo is where its at! GREAT black lager!!!
I don't think I've ever had that one. I may have to get my Texan beer mule to hook me up. I don't think we get *everything* St. Arnold's brews here. I like Hoegaarden, too. If you like witbier, that Blanche de Bruxelles that we had was pretty good as well.
