The BCS is a fricken joke. Why is NCAA 1A collegiate football the only collegiate sport that still doesn't have a legitimate national championship where the true champion is decided on the football field where it should be instead of by a bunch of glorified self-appointed football geniuses and puffed up computer geeks who never played a down of football in their entire lives except for on Nintendo? Until NCAA 1A collegiate football switches to a true 16-team national championship playoff format where the real championship can be decided on the field where it should be, any so-called national championship will be a farce in my book as for as I’m concerned. Moreover, I see no legitimate excuse for postponing a NCAA 1A playoff any longer, and with the interest there is today in collegiate football, I also don't see any reason the bowl games couldn't be integrated into post season play similar to how the NIT was with NCAA collegiate basketball.
