article from LSU sports about tomorrows game. According to Kirk Sampson of the Auburn Sports Information Department, over 530 credentials have been issued for Saturday’s contest between LSU and Auburn. That’s just shy of the nearly 600 credentials issued a year ago for the annual Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama.

Sampson said that the national media covering the LSU-Auburn contest include Ivan Maisel from EPSN.com, Dennis Dodd from CBS Sportsline.com, Kelly Whiteside from USA Today, Ray Glier form the New York Times and Luke Winn from Sports Illustrated.

The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Rivals.com, CSTV and even the NFL Network will be on hand for the LSU-Auburn game. Sampson said the NFL Network will carry both the post-game press conferences of both Les Miles and Tommy Tuberville live to their viewing audience.

The only thing missing from Saturday’s game will be ESPN’s College Gameday, which will be in Los Angeles for the Southern Cal game with Nebraska. LSU and Auburn will be televised to a national audience by CBS at 2:30 p.m. :)

A win will mean very good press, and more than a few votes in the new polls. Geaux Tigers!
