Looking for the silver lining, it will give us all a better opportunity to understand how ready Nussmeier is to take the reins. And since we are playing on Jan. 1 it will allow 1 day before the portal closes (Jan. 2) to add an experienced backup should he look shaky. If Nuss plays well, we might even get a glimpse of Rickie Collins.
Realistically, Im takin the under. Nuss didnt look too impressive this season. Not totally his fault given lack of play/practice with the 1s. Not much choice either way. #rideordie Sidenote, wondering if JDs announcement impacts whether Nabors and BTJ play.
