Just got back from the Sugar Bowl and I just wanted to stop by here and say thanks for all the great southern hospitality that was shown to me and my friends by the vast majority of Tiger fans, both before, during and after the game. You guys have one hell of a football team and a lot to be proud of.

I keep telling everyone up here in Yankee country, that until they go down there and see the damage caused by hurricane Katrina they can't even begin to wrap their minds around it. My heart and prayers have, and continue to go out to all the people of the great state of Louisiana.

Thanks again, you guys have a class program with much to proud of.

    Sincerely,
    Tiger Bait a.k.a. IowaIrish

We certainly are glad to have had you. The ND fans were good sports in the Dome and in the Quarter. Thanks for the kind words!

We'll have to schedule them because we will be in a BCS bowl and the BCS is going to avoid ND like the plague.

I see posts from Iowa Irish, Bayou Irish, etc but I'm wondering? Are there any Irish Irish?

Nice post, Iowa. Come back anytime.:thumb:

Drop in here anytime. I'm sure most of us wish you'd have come around before the game. Irish fans were few and far between over here--and as lsutiga mentioned, many of us were banned from one of the larger ND boards.

Thanks for all the kind words. I would also like to apologize for one of my fellow Domers who has felt the need to come on to YOUR board's and make inflammatory posts. I have read all of his posts and I want to assure you that he's not typical of the ND Nation. I have personal ties to the University of Notre Dame, and individuals like that are not what we represent, nor are they the image we wish to project.

Once again, Kudos to your fans and your team. I wish the game would have turned out different.:D But we had a great time in NOLA.

    Sincerely,
    Tiger Bait aka, IowaIrish

Thanks for coming to the game. Visitors like you help Louisiana recover from the disaster. My husband went to the game and he said your fans were great - I hope everyone who traveled enjoyed their time in New Orleans. We seriously hope you visit the area again soon. Louisiana Thanks YOU!
