I have decided to quit worrying and bitching about the polls and the BCS...I have finally convinced myself that these things are out of my hands.

I am so grateful that WE are blessed this year with a great LSU team, and it appears that WE will remain blessed with a great LSU team for several years to come.

We may not go to THE BCS game this year, but I see nothing wrong with a possible 13-1 season (including SEC champ. and bowl win, and a probable #2 ranking in the nation.

I love the fact I can go to work and talk shit all week to Texas fans, Texas A&M fans, and so on because LSU is doing so well. And I love the fact I tailgate in my home before Tiger games now because I am so hyped up for them (note: tailgating alone is an experience everyone should have at least once).

Thank you Coach Saban and the LSU football team and fans for making this a year to remember. Let the greatness of this season continue in Oxford this weekend.

PS.....The BCS still sucks, and Ole Miss can go to hell. :D

I tailgate at home also. Sometimes I am the only one. Other times I have people over, they love the whole southern thing. Turning them fans for life, now they all call with " I am watching LSU" They are buying gear and getting excited. 2001 seccg a freind of mine is from Scotland and is not big on US Football but called when LSU beat Tenn. It was great.

Hey, Mesquite. I live in Plano. Maybe all of us Texas Tigers should actually get a party together for the bowl game. Tailgating at home alone isn't that fun.

The only problem with talking smack with Texas and Aggie fans this year is they won't say much. The UT people are starting to get bold again, but the Aggies are WAY quiet!

The only co-worker who will talk LSU football with me this year is the guy across the hall--a Grambling grad whose dad coached on Eddie Robinson's staff.

I know Ben's Half Yard house is the Dallas Tailgating place...maybe I will shoot over there for the bowl game.

I was in Spain when LSU played SC, AU & LA Tech. Thank God for the internet. There is now a chapter of LSU fans in Spain and Russia. I had this young boy, who spoke only Russian telling everyone, "Americanski football, Geaux LSU!" He now has his own cap and jersey.
