You fought with the heart of a Tiger all year long.

You made us very, very proud.

We will never forget you, and we hope that you'll always remember all that you accomplished this year.

You finished the season as the highest-ranked team in the SEC . . . you finished 5th and 6th in the polls, and that is outstanding. All of the fans are ecstatic! Things looked bleak after the SECCG, and some of us doubted your ability to win the Peach Bowl. You proved them wrong, and proved yourselves to be Champions.

Thank you coaches, players and managers!

Way to handle adversity in a positive way! My hat goes off to the entire LSU program.

....But no thanks for beating us at home!

Through the trials and tribulations of the season, we are all very proud that you came through at the end and showed everyone what TIGERBALL is like and your true capabilities.

    Thank you.

Great post, and I agree with you all the way.

And no matter how LSU plays and who the coach is, I will always be a LSU! fan, and I will always support the Tigers.

Personally, I'm worried for next season. Not for any good reason, mind you. Just because it's an even-numbered year.

    2000: 8-4, Peach bowl victory
2001: 10-3 SEC Champions, Sugar Bowl victory
    2002: 8-5, Cotton Bowl loss.
2003: 13-1, SEC Champions, National Champions
2004: 9-3, Capital One Bowl loss.
2005: 11-2, SEC West champions, Peach bowl Victory.

Since 2000, we've done far better in odd numbered years. 12 losses combined in even-numbered years since and including 2000. 6 losses combined in odd-numbered years since the same date.

    Just FYI.

Having stated this case, we'll probably finish next season 13-0.
