If we'd have been playing a good team, we'd have never survived the TO's, penalties and tentative play of the offense.

Our defense was unbelievable and I think it rivals any I've seen this year, including OK. Our offense, however really stunk it up today.

But a win's a win and we'll close out Arky next week for a return to the SECCG.

    None taken, Andrew....

Johnny, it's not like we whipped the floor with 'em tonight. Defensively, yes....but offensively? ..FAR from it.

Ole Miss' defense played about as well tonight as they have all season. Frankly, I was QUITE SHOCKED at the way they played--I actually had no respect, or fear, for the Rebel defense before the game started. That quickly changed after picking off Mauck 3 times, returning one for a TD and then getting to him all night.

I give credit to the Ole Miss defense, but remember they had 2 weeks to prepare for us. We can get quite predictable.

I have to admit that I had no respect or fear of the Ole Miss D either. Even after the first play interception for a TD I was saying "OK, Sh*t happens, you made a mistake. Now go hang 5 first half touchdowns on them and put it away" and I still was completely confident that it would happen that way. Even at the half I expected LSU to make some adjustments and come out firing on all cylinders in the second half. We should all get down on our knees and give thanks to St. Nick for putting the best defense in college football on the field
