Texas A&M as #2 seed in Baton Rouge....

    Hey Tiger Fans,

    I just got done talking to a resource that tells me we are in Baton Rouge for the regionals... I'm stopping by to see how you guys feel about your team this year.

    We have one of the best 1-2 punches in pitching this year with Meyer and Jackson having ERA's under 2.00. Our lineup is pretty damn good, but we always seem to nut up with runners in scoring position in key games. Our defense committed 8 errors in 2 games in the Big 12 Tourney to help us go 2-and-Que... normally its pretty solid!!

    I'm looking forward to the regional, as I was at the Baylor-LSU supers last year. I can't wait to bring the Aggie Party Bus and park it at Death Valley for some great tailgating. Find the maroon bus with built in beer taps, and you're welcome to all the free beer and grub you need!!

MOST OF YOUR WINS CAME AGAINST US BACK IN THE 50S AND 60S WHEN WE PLAYED YOU EVERY YEAR IN BATON ROUGE AND WE WERE AN ALL MALE SCHOOL... WE KICKED YOUR ASS THE LAST 5 TIMES WE PLAYED YOU GUYS IN THE 90S... GREAT SERIES WIN IN '89 TO KNOCK OFF ONE OF THE GREATEST COLLEGE BASEBALL TEAMS EVER... GREAT WIN IN '93 IN THE CWS OVER OUR GUYS...

    I'M NOT SURE IF WE WILL WIN THIS REGIONAL AT THE BOX, BUT WIN OR LOSE, I'LL BE FULL OF SPIRITS AND ROWDY... BRING IT!!

    Relax BB was just joking with him and from his response I think he understood. I personally can't wait to see the aggie fans at the box. In my experience they always do a great job supporting thier teams.

    b/c we are LSU fans ...duh....we beat old women, our 9 year old kids flip off the opposing team, we toss over porta pottys...the list just goes on man

    Hate to crap on a good thread. But c'mon, Aggie. You don't have two pitchers with ERAs under 2.00. Your ace is 8-2, 2.56 and your #2 is 10-5, 3.55. Being fair, Jackson's ERA was very nice before Texas put 15 or 16 runs on him in his last two starts. :wink:

    Seriously, I hope A&M goes to LSU. That would be fun to watch.
