Let's let things play out. I seem to remember a certain lb who was charged with rape a couple of years ago and a number of people getting upset. He was innocent and McGill may be to.

I'm no attorney, but I think this is quite different. I can't imagine there were eye witnesses to the rape...
Of course I'd rather it didn't happen, but he punched a guy in the mouth one time. I could think of a heck of a lot worse things. Hopefully this doesn't wind up too bad, but I wouldn't call this Thug U material. These are still kids who are going to make mistakes sometimes no matter what.
First, Excellent English. Second, I was drunk at a Tigerland bar one time in college and got my lip split for no fault of my own. I don't recall pressing any charges but then again the person that hit me wasn't a LSU Football player. Damn pansy.
We all need to let this play out and get the facts. Coach Saban has been very firm in his policies and has kept LSU's program running clean. If it turns out that McGill wasn't justified in whatever took place I trust coach Saban to take the appropriate action. I certainly don't want to see LSU with the reputation of some other certain high profile universities.
