Why go there? No one's giving up on BK, at least no one with half a brain. He's (at the risk of repeating a cliche') trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shit, and there are no Burrow/Chase/CEH/JJ coming to the rescue this season. But he's got the making of an excellent recruiting class going for '23 and the beginnings of another for '24. Give him time to build an LSU-worthy roster before we judge him.
Man it just astounds me how quickly some are doubting Kelly. Everything you posted is true and more. WE ARE REBUILDING!
He's supposed to be a quarterback! Don't force him to do what he is not good at? What kind of crap is that! He's supposed to throw the damn ball and be good at it! We aren't asking him to split an atom! If he isn't good at throwing the ball (and he isn't) he should NOT be the qb
he is what he is. it is clear the staff trust nuss less than they do Daniels…. jd can’t read the field… what does that say about nuss?
Me and you are seeing two different guys. The Southern game should have given you a view of why JD and not Nuss is best RIGHT NOW to lead this team. You are asking people to believe YOU know better than the coaches as to who is better for us at QB. Sorry buddy I will trust Kelly and Denbrock. They see JD and Nuss everyday at practice neither you nor me nor anyone here can say that.
You're 100 percent correct. It takes time to build a major program like LSU, but some fans don't understand the obstacles that coaches face when they take over a program. CBK has been at LSU less than 12 months, but some fans act like he should be competing for a NC. CBK came into a cluster and it's going to take time and patience to get everything going in the right direction. Consider this: 95 percent of the players on the team are not his players and the other 5 percent came out of the transfer portal out of necessity because of the lack of talent in so many areas.
