Yep. Two years of no red zone TDS. The only difference is a kicker this year.

I don’t think Canada’s offense was the answer and it seems like he was a cancer. Canada looked like crap vs MOOU.

I think O is mostly letting E do his thing, except getting frickin conservative too soon (which may actually be on E, not O).

It really seems like the answer is closer to Canada than it is Ensminger, and O, while having input, should probably be a little more laissez faire.

Lord I hope O sees what we see.

I just want to see the offense modernized. It’s so painfully obvious this needs to be done.

Do you think we have the players to play a "modernized" offense?

Yes, I do. I think if anything we have an offensive line that requires there to be a lot of run pass option, spread the field quick hitters, you can still run the ball. Stop the 3 and 5 step drops.

To start off I am a supporter of Orgeron and all our coaches. But when I see things that they are responsible for that is not good we point them out and discuss them here.

I think it was a big mistake not to kick the ball and get three points at the end to go up 17. There are times to go for a 4th down and short and that wasn't it. Coach O made a mistake. But what if it cost us the game. and we lose.

He would have answered for that more then I can tell you that because that was a coaching mistake. We all make mistakes I know I do. But mine means different cause I am not responsible with a few million fans watching me.

And I for one am pissed as hell at the discipline or lack there of on this team.

Wouldn't you think by this time of year we wouldn't be having 15 yard unsportsmanlike for jackasses standing over players and taunting. We are lucky because our players have done it and it wasn't called sometimes.

This is an unforgiveable penalty. After the 2 players doing their show earlier in the season and adding 30 yards worth of penalties.
That is on the head coach that those type penalties keep happening.

Evidently he hasn't backup these situations with enough corrective action.

I can tell you how our coach in college dealt with the same situation and it never happened again after that. I was there watching.

On the sunday following the game all the players were brought out to the practice field and the player who got a 15 yarder that in essence lost the game for us was told to stand on the side and watch while the rest of the team did gassers.

This is where you start on goal line running in place and when the whistle blows you run 10 yards and flop on ground and get up and run in place again till whistle blows and he had them going up and down the field telling them that this player is watching them and he doesn't have to do it.

And he said it is your fault to the other players because you are not showing him leadership. You are letting him hurt the team. So you will run and run and run.

So that in the future you will do your job and show the leadership and discipline so this doesn't happen again. Those guys were tired because this was after their weightlifting.

We didn't have another unsportsmanlike penalty the rest of the year.

Oklahoma is the three-time defending Big 12 Champion. They have made the playoffs twice in the last three seasons. They only have one loss this year. Yet, they fired the DC who was there for all of those great seasons. Why? His unit sucks and was costing the team its bigger ambitions.

There is precedent here. A coordinator does not get to point to his team's W/L record and take credit for it. How productive was the part of the team you're responsible for?

Please, O, don't look at the record and the #7 ranking and decide it's all good. Find the right OC. Send E back to the TEs - or to the retirement home.
