If it wasn't for our offense doing an admirable job of holding the ball for long stretches, we'd be down 25 right now. The UF offense has manhandled and befuddled our vaunted D all night long (so far). We need to stiffen, quick.
It seemed like in the fourth quarter we did a much better job of staying in our rush lanes and keeping Tebow in the pocket.
Seemed like we were too pumped up for this game in the first half, once they got a little tired they started playing ball.
Agree. I was concerned about the adjustments to be made at halftime. When FU came down and scored that TD in response to ours to open the 3rd, I was concerned we hadn't made the proper adjustments. Then things turned around and we caught a couple of breaks. Florida's TOs combined with great coaching by Miles and player execution sank Florida tonight. I give them a ton of credit. This team is going to be beastly in the SEC for the next few years to come. So glad we got past them.
Tim Tebow is the real deal, Im an LSU grad and work has forced me to have to live "among" the "Gator Nation since 90, and from what I heard about him coming out of highschool in NE Fla, I can tell you he,s only gonna get better. The real issue with Tebow is will he able to stay healthy, and with the way they play him, I have my doubts. Thank God the Tigers finally took out Florida...now I dont have to listen to all the bull Ive had to put up with over here for years!., and for a few special Gator fans I know, I,ll take particular pleasure in going to work Monday AM. lol...This was a bitter pill for the "Gator Nation" to have to swallow...think I,ll be serving a little crow with it. This Tiger football team will not lay down for anyone! They really impressed me the second half. Hats off to Coach miles and his staff for instilling the "dont ever quit" in our beloved Tigers!!!! This is a dangerous football team people, and right about now I bet most teams would rather not have us on their schedules this year!!!! GEAUXXXX TIGERS!!!! :helmet:
