The last time I cried over a sports event was when Dale Earnhardt finally won a Daytona 500...

This was so much more amazing...no offense to Dale...

This was a dream come true for me, my father who graduated from LSU in1956 has been waiting so long for this to happen. He, like LSU never gave up!!! Dad was the Captain of the LSU rifle and pistol team in 1956 which claimed many titles. Dad came in second in the nation in shooting the pistol. He's still one hell of a shot!! What I'm trying to say is , this all fails in comparison to LSU winning the undisputed NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in football. My roots grow deep and proud for the purple and gold. Check out my family history at LSU in the appropriate LSU Annual. Thanx to the Tigers for giving my Dad the ultimate sensation of PRIDE!!!!!!!
