Here are the teams that are ranked ahead of us in some rankings system: Oklahoma - 7 computers, 2 polls USC - 7 computers, 2 polls Ohio State - 7 computers Tennessee - 5 computers TCU - 4 computers Miami (OH) - 2 computers Texas - 2 computers Florida - 2 computers Washington State - 1 computer Purdue - 1 computer Miami (Fla) - 1 computer Georgia - 1 computer Ole Miss - 1 computer Bowling Green - 1 computer
It is way more complicated than that... We need Michigan or Purdue to beat Ohio St... That is obvious...but we also need USC to either lose or...for BYU to lose to (Notre Dame/Utah) Hawaii (Nevada/ Army/ Alabama/ Boise St) Notre Dame (BYU/ Stanford/ syrcuse)...why do you ask...well it is simple we need USC SOS to go down...but we also need Arizona to beat (USC or Arizona St.), ULM (Idaho and Troy St.) LA Tech (Tulsa and Rice). We have to hope that in the end our SOS is closer...we also have Bama (4-6) and Ole Miss (8-2) and Arkansas (6-3) to add to our SOS oh yeah plus the championship game. USC only have Arizona (2-8), UCLA (6-4) and Oregon St. (6-3)
I am well aware of all the other stuff that has to happen, but this is just a heads up on what teams are still ahead of us in some of the computer rankings. I know this is not the only things that need to happen for us.
The computers make no sense to me whatsoever. Bowling Green is ahead of UGA in 5 of 7 polls.... OSU ahead of LSU in some... I just dont get it.
