if they leave, who would you pick to replace Vandy? I've heard (and agreed) with Texas a&m, but if the SEC did that they would have to move a team to the east, possibly bama or auburn.

if not a&m, I suggest either Clemson(south carolina's rival) or Virginia. remember, it has to be in one of the confederate states. who would you choose?

If that ever happens Clemson would be a posibility as well as Georgia Tech. Virginia wouldn't leave the ACC now that their traditional rival Virginia Tech is joining the ACC. I would love to see either Florida State or Miami try to compete with SEC teams from week to week.

georgia tech is out. They already opted out of the SEC. Doubt they would come back. I think Clemson would leave the ACC in a heart beat. And everybody knows that Miami has always wanted in the SEC, but hte SEC doesn't want that kind of program affiliated with it.

I've heard Georgia Tech is the most likely to join, or rejoin. Their leaving the SEC happened a long time ago.

Louisville's program is up and coming and would be a great replacement for Vandy.

How about the Tampa Bay Bucs? The way they are playing this year they might not even be the best team in the SEC.

I'm partial to Georgia Tech; many natural rivalries and some solid tradition. But the smart money is on Louisville. That would help in basketball too.

    Replacement for Vandy

Max Howell on southersports tonight has made some comments that GT would jump at the chance to comeback to the SEC. I would like to see A&M but Fran and the new AD over there who is a Neb guy would not allow that now. Plus if GT comes in then they are perfect for the EAST. I really dont want Auburn to move to the East because as much as I hate them I love playing those guys.

I say Georgia Tech or Clemson would be your 2 best choices. Isn't Louisville moving to the Big East?
